This personal project involves the development of a new terraced property in the heart of Walthamstow, East London.
An existing garage plot had received planning permission to be transformed into a 2 storey home boasting an generous 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 en-suite.
The brand-new house also includes a converted loft-space and balcony overlooking the garden, giving it a total area of 83.07 m² (894.2 ft²)
FTL demolished the garage efficiently and safely, allowing works to begin on the house.
The ground floor includes a lounge, shower room, kitchen and dining space, opening out onto a bijou garden space.
The staircase will lead to bedrooms 1 and 2 on the first floor, along with a family bathroom.
The finished top floor has been built to a high specification. Finishes including black nickel electrical accessories, anthracite grey radiators and electric underfloor heating in the bathroom. A generous skylight floods the space with natural light, enhancing the living space.
Construction is ongoing (as of August 2020), all undertaken by the in-house FTL team and is projected to complete in October 2020.
