Single Storey Extension
FTL was approached by this homeowner to construct a 21m² single storey extension to the rear of the property, enabling the creation of a state-of-the-art open plan kitchen and dining space.
The execution of this project also included the demolition and removal of much of the hard landscaping in the garden which was to be renovated by landscape gardeners.
Our work encompassed groundwork, preparing the site and re-siting any services to enable construction of the extension. This is followed by brick/blockwork, structural support, roofing to create the structure, and then boarding and plastering.
Finally FTL installed new electrical and plumbing systems to the extension and rear-reception room, along with carpentry works to the doors and skirting.
The success of this build was a testament to the skill and experience of our team. The site posed some challenges due to its aspect, access routes and also constructing to account for the gradient of the garden.
Our client was very pleased with the finished product and was also kind enough to leave us a review on Check A Trade and scored us 9.5.
